Role: Art Director

Summary: Herschel Supply is searching for a talented Art Director to create thoughtful seasonal and brand campaigns. You’ll be responsible for producing content that matches the company’s brand, aesthetic, and marketing strategy, including art direction for campaigns, graphic solutions for multi-channels. The ideal candidate should be able to efficiently combine creativity, brand message, and marketing strategy. In this role, organizational and technical skills are key, and all candidates must possess in-depth knowledge of design software programs.

Responsibilities:

• Generate clear ideas and concepts in tandem with copywriters
• Produce sketches, storyboards and concept decks to visualize ideas
• Collaborate with the creative director to work from concept to final execution within deadlines
• Understand marketing initiatives, strategic positioning, and target audience
• Working with Retail Marketing Team to develop concepts and assets for wholesale partners
• Cooperate with the rest of the creative team across different types of media
• Mentor, Manage and delegate responsibilities to other designers and provide directions
• Collaborate with photographer and producer to plan and manage photoshoots including providing on set direction
• Develop and manage brand visual standards for the organization
