Summary: The National Athlete Marketing Manager is responsible for topline strategy of the athlete-marketing program. They are tasked with selecting, managing, and maintaining a national portfolio of locally and nationally relevant athletes and for developing marketing strategies to support the brand via this top talent in market.

They understand the athlete’s needs and challenges in performance, marketing and communications and provide professional support where needed in order to drive positive impact for our brand and product through efficient cooperation (input/output ratio), outstanding athlete projects, communication campaigns, etc. where appropriate.


–   Develop and oversee the entire strategy and execution of the national athlete portfolio to broaden the reach of our brand by building and connecting more strongly with our current target consumer.

– Evolve Red Bull’s athlete presence within sports by diversifying the roster and identifying actions to build trust amongst Canadians.

– Research opportunities to leverage Red Bull’s global athlete and event portfolio across Canadian market to meet local market demands.

– Collaborate with the national Sales and Brand teams by developing innovative programs at retail that leverage the athlete roster with the consumer and customer in mind

– Support, supervise and educate each athlete with the perfect individual package consisting of marketing (tools, salary, bonus etc.), communications and high-performance tools and guidance.

– Organization, communication, and delivery of up to date athlete branding guidelines and efficient athlete tools, materials storage and logistic workflow.

– Establish athlete target setting and manage related communications and information pertaining to event calendars, factsheets, news-postings etc. via the Red Bull Sportsnet
