Role: Business Support Executive

Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for the management of a variety of business support services, event assistance, administration and support to the CEO. The main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Office Support – operating as the face of the company you will be responsible for:
- Meeting and greeting visitors, guests and taking all calls
- Administration support for events and entries
- Updating and maintaining sponsorship proposals and agreements
- Implementing an electronic filing system
- Administration support for receipting, banking, mailing and other general office duties.
- Maintain and update Surfing Queensland’s online content management system
Member & Project Support – Surfing Queensland is run for our Members, Clubs and Surf Schools as such you will be required to:
- Champion and lead the adoption of our member portal including reporting, problem solving, attending regular meetings
- Provide administration support for memberships, coaching and judging accreditations
- Provide high level support to all clubs and surf schools
- Liaise with other state bodies to ensure a smooth outcome for all
- Co-ordinate project-based work and research, including fundraising activities
- Assist with coordination and finalisation of external documentation
- Distribution of information to all members and corporate partners
Executive Support
- Administrative support to the CEO including diary management and travel booking.
- Liaising with high level clients /stakeholders /government / Board members and internal staff
- Board support including preparation of agendas, minutes and following up action items
- Communication (written and verbal) with key stakeholders, including meeting, greeting and accommodating clients and visitors
- Preparation for CEO meetings including agenda’s, notes, presentations and minutes
- Regular status reports for projects and tasks
- Email correspondence on behalf of the CEO as required.
