Summary: The Direct Channel Coordinator is responsible for assisting Surfline’s email and push channels. This process includes audience/list segmentation, template design and production, campaign deployment and reporting- all focused on the re-engagement, retention, and conversion of free and paid users. The role combines digital marketing experience, Surfline brand, and user understanding to be able to craft compelling communications and deliver on marketing department goals.

Responsibilities: Daily operations of the email marketing channel – email marketing calendar, promotional campaign planning, creative design, execution and deployment of email and push, and basic channel analytics. Report on performance for communication channels marketing on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis and measure against department KPI’s Assist with the development of email marketing roadmap and strategies that support our business objectives. Execute on email strategy provided by leadership and collaborate with content teams and other marketing channel specialists to ensure messaging and brand consistency. Partner with marketing teams and leadership to develop and execute against customer segmentation, new premium conversion and retention strategies. Contribute to list segmentation, triggered emails, life cycle campaigns, seasonal campaigns and promotions, A/B testing to improve performance and efficiency of email and Push marketing.
