Summary: The Digital Merchandising & Ecommerce Content has the ownership of division websites in AMS, including Quiksilver, Billabong, Roxy, RVCA, DC Shoes, Element, XCEL, Von Zipper, Honolua Surf Co. and Dot Dash. Working closely with brand departments, leads the process of creating a best-in-class consumer and brand experience, whether for shopping or connecting with our brands through creative presentation of relevant and exciting content within the ecommerce channel.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide a well-rounded, immersive brand experience to website visitors by ensuring product, commerce and editorial contents are balanced and relevant, as well as delivered through a fluid interface. Engage with Brand, Creative and Content Management teams to obtain and curate website content. Work with Application Development team to perform strategic tests and implement site design improvements.
  • Manage the E-Comm DTC master production calendar, containing all key events / deployment dates for editorial content, product launches and promotions. Drive cross-brand content and execution planning around key ecommerce events (gift guide, promotions, etc.) Manage the team of ~8 people responsible for accurate execution against the calendars.
  • Ownership of key site KPIs (conversion, retention, SEO traffic, AOV) and budgets related to improvements needed to drive these KPIs. Work closely with VP, Ecommerce and Product Marketing Director to prioritize enhancements and fixes to drive KPIs.
  • Ensure that DTC E-Comm activities stay fully integrated with the organization’s processes through effective cross-functional collaboration (Brand Marketing, Trade Marketing, Creative, Brand Activation, Ecommerce Buying/Planning, Digital Factory, etc.).
  • Lead communication process for content and website merchandising for brands with global leadership teams in AMS.
