Summary: As the Director of Global Channel Marketing, you will be instrumental in setting and implementation of all strategic marketing plans, brand experience initiatives and visual merchandising guidance related to Vans sales channels – including owned retail stores, Vans e-commerce and Vans Customs. In your role you will be working in close collaboration with your Global peers across Brand, Brand Communications, Product, Product Marketing, Direct to Consumer (DTC), Creative, Consumer Lifecycle Management (CLM), Strategy and Regional Marketing to drive revenue goals.

Responsibilities:

  • You will establish a new Global Channel Marketing function that drives strategic alignment and a consistent consumer experience – all whilst ensuring strong Go-To-Market integration and asset and guidelines creation. This will include building and supporting a globally consistent and locally relevant, multichannel marketing approach that provides global marketing guidance.
  • By working in close unison with functional experts across our various channels you will create, socialize and deliver both short, and long-term, marketing channel needs for the brand. This includes the development of global programs that drive consumer category goals across all functions for global consistency and local implementation.
  • DTC – You will be the Strategic Driver of DTC Marketing, including a focus on retail brand experience, key city strategies, store marketing, store design and storytelling, new store formats and global seasonal key stories and initiatives while collaborating with cross functional counterparts.
  • CLM – Partner with Global Consumer Lifecycle Management to integrate consumer insights and translate global loyalty and member strategies into global marketing planning and the marketing Go-To-Market process.  You will work with global cross-functional leaders in developing consumer acquisition, engagement and retention strategies.
  • E-Commerce – You will be supporting Vans E-Commerce Marketing at a global level to develop strategies around our digital consumer journey approach, global product launches, key brand moments and our consumer loyalty program.
  • Omnichannel – Providing an omnichannel consumer-centric approach across our multichannel marketplace, managing expectations on what is globally mandated and delivered and what is regionally created and executed.
