Summary: The DTC Merchandiser is responsible for developing and driving line assortment plans and merchandising strategies that result in a compelling, consistent customer experience in our direct channels globally across ecommerce, catalog and retail to achieve company financial goals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct ongoing market research, brand benchmarking, and product performance analysis.
- Collect, analyze and interpret feedback from various sources and peers such as site consumer insights, store visits, demand planning, and the marketing team, in order to develop a rich understanding of the customer.
- Identify broader activity/market trends to explain business patterns and to inform initiative development, assortment and business direction.
- Prepare product performance reports for each of the three Direct channels globally (Retail, eComm and Catalog).
- Lead historical, seasonal trends and collection product performance analysis at the divisional, category, class and item level across DTC channels and regions, to identify sales and future category opportunities.
- Partner with marketing team to develop seasonal content calendar supporting key product stories and product selection based on global launch dates and global inventory position.
- Act as the liaison between Ops and Marketing to communicate product delays as it pertains to the key stories and update assets as necessary.
