Summary: The Event Marketing Manager will work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager to drive Zumiez marketing programs and events by proactively seeking and executing both customer and employee facing opportunities. The Event Marketing Manager will train and work extensively with Marketing Coordinators to drive deadlines and oversee project execution from concept to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Drive Zumiez marketing digital/physical event planning and production
- Develop creative activation ideas for events
- Oversee and assist in the planning and execution of digital/physical events
- Expand promotional opportunities for all events
- Own and maintain the 12 month event calendar and planning process
- Research relevant industry and lifestyle events
- Propose, maintain and reconcile event budgets
- Develop the Marketing Coordinator team through the digital/physical events you lead
- Identifying specific teaching and learning opportunities for the coordinator team through each event
- Work with the manager team on wholistic development of individual coordinators
- Act as a Marketing team leader at all national, regional, and local events
- Travel to key event locations to build/strengthen relationships and evaluate event success
