Summary:

Based at our global head office in Torquay, we are searching for a full-time Financial Controller for a 12mth Contract commencing December 2021. The position will control the financial reporting, processes and analysis of the financial results of the consolidated Rip Curl business. Key responsibilities include;

• Review and deliver the monthly Rip Curl financial consolidation in conjunction with Kathmandu finance team to Executives and Kathmandu Finance team including detailed commentary
• Interpret and review regional accounting information to appraise their operating results in terms of cost, budgets, policies of operation and trends with the view to identifying where profit growth may be achieved and how;
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders in all regions and across the Group, actively participating in regional and global management meetings (as required) to proactively identify business improvement opportunities
• Taking a lead role in group tax management, statutory compliance and co-ordination of group reporting
• Support the GM of Finance, CEO and other group executives with financial and operational information to support the defining of the group strategy
• Support international finance teams through the budget process providing clarity and guidance on expectations
• Review and management of the Accountant’s preparation of the two head office entity monthly general ledger accounting, management reports and balance sheet reconciliations.
