Role: Frontend Developer

Summary: Our Front End Developer is responsible for providing development, technical support, and user support for E-commerce and Brand sites with a focus on leading and executing development sprints as well as successfully deploying them. This position serves as the key role in defining and executing technical front end solutions as required to be delivered to meet the business strategy and direction. 

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining the health of the front-end system in collaboration with our third-party external resources and helping to manage those resources.
• Liaising and working with external 3rd party development teams
• Performs various coding tasks, such as design, development and testing of Web front-end, back-end Web-based applications, and web services.
• Leveraging and maintaining e2e testing infrastructure within the storefront environments.
• Advising business on optimal UX practices and producing wireframes or mockups when required.
• Translating mockups into valid, cross-browser compatible web solutions.
• Creating and maintaining new functionality on the Demandware platform that operates a reference application model, delivering organised, scalable, and reusable code with each solution.
• Reports project status and updates to IT management.
• Perform code reviews, QA and UAT for work produced by other developers in in the team, including external developers.
