Role: Garment Fitting Technician

Summary:

In this role you will work collaboratively with the RVCA design team, having real input into the production process and achieving results collectively.  Your primary goal as Garment Fitting Technician will be to produce detailed sizing and pattern information to achieve the best fit of product, ensuring samples and bulk garments are produced according to set standards and within set timeframes.  This role provides an opportunity to bring your existing knowledge of garment construction into our creative design environment.

Working within the dynamic RVCA team, some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Accurately processing and coordinating computerized size specification sheets
• Creating new patterns and blocks as required
• Liaising with off-shore suppliers, providing details of how patterns are to be constructed, altered or graded
• Managing size fittings and making necessary adjustments considering designer needs and supplier capacity
• Monitoring deliveries and quality of product, initiating follow ups and resolving quality issues to ensure deadlines are met
• Finalisation of garments from sample stage to bulk production
