Summary: The Global Controller reports to the CFO and will be an integral member of the finance team in overseeing the global accounting operations, including general ledger accounting, inventory accounting, cash management and accounts payable functions. The Global Controller responsibilities include ensuring accuracy of the consolidated financial statement and enforcement of internal controls.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the month-end close process, including review of journal entries, account reconciliations and account analyses.
• Prepare/maintain/review consolidation adjustments, appendices and intercompany eliminations for the month-end closes, budget and forecast.
• Prepare/maintain/review monthly financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, equity rollforward, cash flows and various management reports, ensuring accuracy and consistency with global reporting and accounting standards.
• Assist the CFO with budgeting, financial analysis, and financial reporting.
• Create and maintain documentation of global policies and consolidation structure to be used as a global manual/guideline for regions and new users.
• Support domestic and international finance teams in implementing local controls and supporting analysis to ensure accuracy of the financial information and compliance with US GAAP/IFRS and consistency with management reporting guidelines. This includes research and documentation of new accounting policies.
