Summary:

Reporting to the brand President, the Design Director is responsible for all aspects of VZ’s design and development of eyewear, goggles, apparel and accessories from concept through production.

• Create short and long-term design vision and strategies for the brand
• Collaborate with sales, marketing and art departments to provide product designs for market success
• Identify Key market trends and develop strategies to enhance the brand’s market position
• Utilize internal and external partnerships that leverage resources to improve business success
• Actively provide appropriate designs with regard to cost/value, fit and performance, manufacturability, sustainability and aesthetic finish
• Create new practices, processes and design applications to increase product value and performance
• Develop strong consumer-oriented points of view and lead the design effort in executing the vision through seasonal product launches, key brand and product initiatives
