Role: Global Marketing Lead – Water

Summary: Reporting directly to the Director of Global Marketing, the Global Marketing Manager for Water Sports is responsible for leading the overall strategy applied to the world of these sports. This includes a multi-channel strategy for seasonal storytelling, support for the storytelling, branding and product teams in these channels, and the conduct of brand-specific marketing campaigns with the various brands. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with design and product teams to identify and position key seasonal stories;
- Manage the Global Universe budget;
- Develop powerful seasonal stories and work with the entire marketing organization to build relevant global campaigns and increase direct and indirect sales of key aquatic-related products;
- Liaise between the Director of Global Marketing, the Head of Trading and the General Manager to develop a strategy for the growth of the “water sports” category across all channels;
- Apply the sustainability strategy and identify seasonal engagement and storytelling opportunities with clients arising from these sustainability initiatives;
- Develop strong relationships with regional counterparts to drive the overall implementation of the strategy and provide support from a global perspective;
- Collaborate with athlete recruiters and the development director to identify potential narratives;
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and on clear instructions
