Role: Global Marketing Manager – Sportswear

Location: Ventura, CA
Responsibility: To drive the Sportswear global category marketing strategy. This includes a multi-channel strategy for seasonal storytelling, supporting the brand marketing team with seasonal supply chain storytelling, as well as supporting ongoing brand-level marketing initiatives. 

Summary:

  • Work with the Sportswear line management team to identify and position key seasonal stories.
  • Develop strategic seasonal briefs and work across the marketing organization to develop globally relevant campaigns that support both sell-in and sell-through of key Sportswear products, based on consumer insights.
  • Work with marketing leadership to develop a strategy that will support Sportswear category growth over time via all channels.
  • Work closely with the Social and Environmental Responsibility team to identify seasonal consumer engagement and storytelling opportunities around important issues.
  • Develop relationships with regional counterparts to understand their needs and drive overall support and implementation from a global perspective (research, strategy, growth opportunities, development and implementation of seasonal tools).
  •  Activate Sportswear key stories in NA in alignment with the functional marketing team. Collaborate with the functional, VDG and Retail Marketing team in order to implement strategies for the US Patagonia Retail and Wholesale accounts in order to define promotional needs to support sell in and sell trough.
