Role: Global Senior Financial Analyst

Summary: The Global Senior Financial Analyst will supervise the Junior Financial Analyst; lead in the preparation of consolidated annual budgets and financial forecasts; analyze variances & business trends; and perform ad-hoc financial analysis as necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the global development of annual budgets, forecasts and three-year plans
  1. Coordinate the development of annual budgets worldwide.
  2. Ensure that all information provided by subsidiaries is compiled appropriately and accurately into the consolidated Annual Budget/Financial Forecast/Three Year Plan.
  3. Manage budgets in company’s EPM system.
  4. Partner with the Global department owners and help them manage their expenses within company guidelines
  5. Examine and verify financial documents and reports, and ensure approved initiatives are accurately incorporated into budgets.
  6. Analyze historical information and future projections to help guide cost allocation; evaluate alternatives and implement creative recommendations. Perform scenario modeling, constant currency and sensitivity analysis.
  7. Assist in building management presentations.
• Manage actual results compared to budget/forecast throughout the year
  1. Analyze revenue and expense variance relative to the approved budget.
  2. Prepare monthly management reports including recommendations to ensure achievement of financial goals.
  3. Develop forecasts throughout the year based on the company’s performance and provide timely communication of progress and changes to management.
  4. Be a key partner for the business to assist in planning, budgeting and analyzing department expenses.
