Summary:
Reporting to the Global Digital Director, the Global Social Media Editor will be responsible for the execution and alignment of all social strategy. The position plays a key role in driving alignment between the brand marketing team, regional marketing team and regional digital team through establishing clear content publishing calendars and supporting communication. They will drive ongoing consumer engagement across all relevant social channels and leverage these platforms to create great relationships with our consumers, building social media communities from the ground up.
Responsibilities:
● Drive the Quiksilver global social strategy aligning with short-term and long-term marketing targets, brand equity KPIs and
ROI.
● Maintain a steady cadence of engaging content on Quiksilver’s social media channels (Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram)
● Develop and manage the social editorial publishing calendar including assets, activation and audience targeting – following
global guidelines to create a consistent strategy between all social & digital platforms.
● Compile social channel briefs for all social content needs – covering key seasonal marketing stories, athlete and influencer
collaborations, special projects and wider marketing initiatives.
