Summary: As the global leader of the retail business you will drive Retail’s key objectives to showcase the brand and its products, elevate customer experience and generate sales. You will drive strategic growth initiatives at retail; motivating and inspiring the crew to deliver to strategy and execute strategic growth initiatives to achieve or exceed budgeted sales and profitability targets


  • Ownership and development of company owned flagship stores, partnership stores, licensed flagship stores, company owned outlet stores and Ozmosis our multi-brand retailer.
  • Develop and execute growth strategy for all Retail stores globally in close partnership with key regional heads and Store Experience Managers
  • Implement and ensure best practice Retail and Store Operations globally via team management, crew training, operations manuals, VM guidelines, procedures and policies
  • Shared ownership of the unified commerce strategy and implementation of omnichannel functionally with a particular focus on change management
  • Support the roll out of Club Rip Curl and the retail operations support needed to launch and ensure success of the program, working closely with CX and Loyalty to execute
  • Support the role out of Global Unified Commerce initiatives to assist in achieving its vision of being the “ultimate surfing company”
  • Work closely with leaders in CX and Loyalty and eCommerce to drive efficiencies and consistencies across online and in store
  • ​​ Active participation in the company’s committed waste management process, including proactive re-use and recycling
