Role: Graphic Designer Boardshorts
Brand: Billabong
Location: Huntington Beach, USA

•  Design and create products for the boardshort category within Billabong men’s apparel line.

•  Design and create engineered boardshort graphics from concepts to creation.

•  Execute on all aspect of the boardshort process. Inspiration > Creation > Tech > BOM > Comment

•  Collaborate on and create seasonal colour stories and palette.

•  Contribute to overall design intent and category direction for the seasonal ranges.​​​​

•    Execute product design in line with the vision for Billabong men’s global seasonal direction.
•    Build and engineer print and graphic patterns to apply across all categories of the range, but with a specific focus on the application of the Boardshort category.
•    Execution of all aspects of the boardshort process from concept to creation.
•   Inspiration > Creation > Tech > BOM > Follow up comments
•    Work with the Global / NA product team to ensure regional alignment across categories, while capitalizing on key market trends to identify new / brand right opportunities.
•    Have an in-depth knowledge of market, trends, innovation, competition, and product
•    Ensure products are delivered in time and aligned with the broader product development calendar
•    Manage time and action calendar for assigned categories to meet all deadlines.

•    Men’s NA MD&D team, Global Creative and Art Directors.
•    BBG Asia, Freelance Artists / Designers

Key Measurables:

•    Identifying and executing product and graphic design opportunities resulting in increased market-share and sell-through for the men’s boardshort and associated categories.
•    Products delivered built in full, on time seasonally, hitting calendar and margin targets.
