Role: Head of Womenswear
Brand: General Pants
Location: Sydney, NSW
Summary: You will be responsible for carving out General Pants’ position within the Womenswear categories within our space, and with an intrinsic understanding of the core customer and a strong commercial sense, enhance not only the customer experience but drive market share growth in this extremely competitive and exciting space.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a customer centric merchandise and brand strategy that sets us apart from the competition whilst continually delivers on the brands core proposition
- Lead the team to develop and roll out an integrated Womenswear offering across both branded and vertical ranges
- Lead the team to source and develop new and exciting brands, incubate ranges, create brand experiences and leverage great relationships with both our branded and vertical suppliers
- Partner with the Menswear Teams to deliver a cohesive offering under the General Pants brand
- In line with overall business strategic initiatives, develop and execute the Womenswear product strategy and brand direction
- Lead and develop a vibrant and creative team to optimise results and achieve sales/profit and trading margin targets
- Source and develop ranges, leading the team to identify both global and local market trends that are relevant and interpreting them for the GP customer
