Summary:

We have an epic opportunity for a Health, Safety & Well-being Specialist to join our crew on a 12 month contract, reporting into our Health, Safety & Well-being Manager. The primary function of this position is to support the implementation of the health and safety framework, including development of risk assessments and associated procedures. The role is full-time and located at our head office in Torquay. Day to day your responsibilities will be;

• Lead the development and implementation of risk assessments and safe work procedures.
• Monitor and support the resolution of corrective actions and ensure timely reporting on issues as required by the HSW Manager.
• Support the HSW Manager with the workplace inspection and audit program.
• Support with the implementation of global processes and new system rollouts.
• Support the coordination and facilitation of the health and safety committees and provide opportunity for consultation.
• Assist with the incident reporting process to ensure timely reporting to relevant regulatory authorities and carry out incident investigations when required.
• Develop and maintain reports and other deliverables as required by the HSW Manager.
• Work closely with the HSW Manager, and other key stakeholders across the business to provide technical support and guidance.
