Role: Health, Safety & Wellbeing Manager

Summary:

The position is permanent and part-time (3 days), located at our head office in Torquay. This role will support our Health, Safety and Wellbeing journey globally. Day to day responsibilities include;

• Develop and implement policies, plans, programs and systems to meet our HSW objectives ensuring they are effective and complaint with both legislative and organisational requirements
• Provide guidance and expertise/support on trends and issues impacting on HSW across head office, warehouse and retail locations.
• Maintain metrics and data, highlighting any issues or reoccurrences and undertake reporting requirements
• Undertake regular safety audits and coordinate third party audits
• Work with HR Manager to ensure injury management, Work Cover and return to work programs are managed effectively
• Identify training and educational needs across the business and the appropriate method of training delivery, ensuring training is integrated in crew onboarding and at appropriate intervals as needed throughout employment
• Develop and promote crew wellbeing initiatives across the organisation
