Summary:

We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our People’s Department. The HR Generalist will be required to provide broad Human Resource knowledge and experience to many HR functions in our Corporate Division including HR operations, employee relations, full cycle recruitment, performance management and training, payroll management, benefits and 401K administration. Other duties also include but are not limited to:

•    Maintains and interprets knowledge of trends, compliance with federal, state, and local employment and payroll laws and regulations, and recommended best  practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance and guidance.

•    Assist in managing and enforcing Covid-19 policy and practices in the corporate office and distribution center.

•    Maintains, and reviews ADP payroll system to ensure timely and accurate processing of corporate payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.

•    Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.

•    Partners with corporate leadership team to understand and execute the human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.

•    Collaborates with Director of HR, HR Manager, HR Administrator, corporate management, and other staff on a daily basis when needed on various projects.

•    Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.

•    Manages leaves of absence, including coordinated pay and benefits.

•    Manages monthly audit of benefit invoices for accurate payment.

•    Manages bi-weekly audit of 401K plan to ensure accurate employee updates are being made to retirement plan and payroll system.

•    Partner with HR Director on employee relations and execute delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
