Summary: Surfline Wavetrak in New Zealand is a moving towards a significant period of growth and we need an exemplary and dynamic marketing professional to support us through this growth and beyond. As the Marketing Lead you will be responsible for ingesting the cross channel strategies (between Growth, Performance and Brand) and regionalizing them for the New Zealand surf audience AND bring forward marketing strategies and ideas that will be unique to the New Zealand surfer, based on your knowledge of the industry. 

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute on all key cross-channel marketing initiatives for the NZ region.
  • Bring forward marketing strategies and ideas that will be unique to the New Zealand surfer, based on your knowledge of the industry.
  • Develop and own the execution of the NZ Marketing Headline Calendar, working closely with product, content, design and other cross functional teams to develop and deliver campaigns and product news, driving excitement for our brands, sub-brands, and key product features.
  • Work with cross-functional departments to develop NZ specific surf content.
  • Oversee the production of all campaign material from on-product and external positioning, advertising, media, and events where it is required to be regionalized for NZ.
  • Be able to constantly review and assess global marketing programs and ensure they are viable and will be successful in the NZ region.
  • Work with the strategy team to maintain strong market intelligence, keeping up to date on consumer and industry trends, and making recommendations for changes to our own strategies.
  • Use your surf industry experience and passion for surfing to deliver an authentic experience to the NZ surfer.
