Who are we looking for?
To be successful in this role you will have completed tertiary study in marketing, communications or similar. You’ll have practical experience in managing all facets of marketing focusing on brand strategic direction, marketing best practices, build and implement strategic marketing campaigns, in-depth knowledge of social media platforms. You’ll have strong organisational and time management skills and be used to being a ‘jack of all trades. We have a small, dynamic team and you’ll be exposed to a wide variety of work in this role. You’ll love being part of a team, but able to work autonomously. Critical to your success will be your understanding of our target consumer.
Job Brief
- Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments
- Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration
- Analyse customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies
- Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies
- Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead strategic campaigns, performance analysis
- Produce valuable and engaging content for our website that attracts and converts our target groups
- Build strategic relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Partner with key industry players, agencies and vendors
- Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly half yearly and annual basis and allocate funds wisely
- Oversee and approve marketing material, from website banners to hard copy brochures
Additional responsibilities
Marketing manager responsibilities include tracking and analysing the performance of advertising campaigns, managing the marketing budget and ensuring that all marketing material is in line with our brand identity. To be successful in this role, you should have hands-on experience with bricks and mortar retail, social digital and web analytics and be able to turn creative ideas into effective projects.
- Maintaining our social media presence across all digital channels
- Measuring and reporting on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns
- Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns
- Design, build and maintain our social media presence
- Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
Ultimately, you will help us build and maintain a strong and consistent brand through a wide range of online and offline marketing channels.
