Role: Product Designer

Location: Dunsborough, WA
Summary: Our Product Designer’s aim is to lead and create the best gear for surfing, as part of Creature’s award-winning Product Development, Sourcing & Logistics Team. You’ll work closely with the Global Brand & Product Director with feedback from multiple world champions to concept, develop and innovate what tail pads, leashes and boardcovers can be. It’s all about delivering gear that is reliable, functional, and built for a lifetime of discovery.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and drive best in class innovation in design, function, sustainability to further the brand as industry leader in cooperation with the Global Brand & Product Director
• Work directly with Global Brand & Product Director to concept, design and develop products that are in-line with seasonal Product Design Strategy
• Design and develop commercial, functional, reliable quality products that our customers want and will buy
• Manage and finalise all tech packs and product category factory handovers, CAD drawings, packaging and other essential design material within the seasonal product development calendar
• Design products to meet target prices set by the Global Brand & Product Director
• Drive and propose sustainable material and manufacturing advanced practices
• Assist and co-ordinate with the Global Brand & Product Director in genuine product innovation aligned with our ‘Built for the Future’ Strategy
