Summary:

We are looking for a creative self-starter at the intersection of graphic and industrial design, to become an integral contributor to our young and energetic hardgoods design and development team. If you’ve ever wanted to get hands on crafting boards, skates, and other hardware for action sports… this is the opportunity for you!

The designer would report to the Hardgoods Design Manager, and be responsible for (but not limited to) the following tasks:

·      Design/illustrate original art for skateboards and other equipment

·      Conceptualize, sketch, and draft products and components

·      Assist in preparation of art and colorway development

·      The creation of specification sheets / tech packs

·      Prepare and package final print-ready art for production

·      Product photography and photo retouching

·      Sample assembly / product testing

·      Communicate directly with factory in some cases to see samples/products through from concept to production

·      Create trims, labelling, and print-ready packaging
