Role: Product Developer- Accessories & Equipment

Summary: We have an opportunity to join our crew as a Product Developer- Accessories & Equipment in a permanent full time capacity at our global head office in Torquay.  The role will support the Product Manager and Category Designers, ensuring accurate specifications with clear and concise comments. The key responsibilities for the role include;

• Preparing detailed tech pack information
• Support to Design and Product Managers with specific knowledge of components, finishes and costs
• Timely delivery & approval of prototype & production samples
• Understanding capabilities of our overseas partners to ensure quality and cost effective development of products within reasonable timeframes
• Liaise with overseas partners regarding technical issues at all stages of product development & production
• Understand and review buy plans to ensure information is correct, providing complete and accurate information on each style to suppliers for development, sampling and bulk production
• Protect brand reputation by initiating and following quality assurance plans and strategies set by the Group Sourcing Manager and Group Development manager
• Understanding of global product compliance preferred
