Role: Public Relations Specialist

Location: San Clemente, CA
Responsibility: With general supervision, supports strategic public relations, public affairs and community outreach initiatives and marketing efforts.

Summary:
– Manages public affairs efforts for company including government relations, external agency relationship and communications.
– Manages complex, high visibility projects that less experienced staff are not yet prepared to coordinate.
– Supports communications and marketing activities for a variety of Public Relations efforts.
– Researches, writes and prepares for publication a variety of external communication mediums including: press releases, feature articles, media advisories, OpEds, email pitches, newsletters, Internet, briefing books, Executive statements.
– Acts as a liaison between Eyewear and the media to ensure that accurate and appropriate information is released.
