Sales Executive

Role: Sales Executive
Location: Melbourne, Vic

Role Summary: Accountable to find, retain and grow customers in the schools, private groups, corporate markets and other B2B segments at URBNSURF Melbourne. The role will manage inbound enquiries and generate outbound leads, working with new and existing clients to reach financial targets.

The Sales Executive will also support our surf travel industry partners with bookings and enquiries.

The Sales Executive will work with the Sales Manager to strategically develop new client databases across school, corporate and other networks. They will collaborate with the Melbourne operations and customer experience team to ensure the best possible end to end experience for our guests.

Principle Accountabilities 

  • Respond quickly and effectively to online enquiries to grow private group, school, and corporate revenue.
  • Drive top of pipeline activity for schools, utilising existing and new customer databases.
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media
  • Manage small B2C groups database to drive forward bookings and repeat business.
  • Provide booking support for all clients and work with the customer experience team to ensure timely outcomes and communication to customers.
  • Ensure the integrity of client information and sales activity in CRM.
  • Support Surf Travel partners with bookings and customer enquiries.
  • Meet with potential clients for onsite tours.
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate customer presentations.
  • Support the events team in the executions of small and large events.
  • Provide reporting support where required.
  • Work with the Sales Manager and Events Manager to develop new commercial opportunities based on customer feedback.
  • Coordinate with USM park team to execute in-park experience for all clients
