Role: Senior Eyewear Designer

Location: Huntington Beach, USA
Summary: In this role you will be responsible for all aspects of VZ’s design and development of eyewear, goggles, apparel and accessories from concept through production. 

Responsibilities:

• •    Create short and long-term design vision and strategies for the brand
  •    Create and manage all functional elements in Product Development process, including but not limited to:Tech Packs, Spec Sheets, and Build Of Materials (B.O.M.)
  •    Negotiate costing with vendors/suppliers to achieve margin targets with high quality execution
  •    Active management of line plans and product development calendar, with alignment to organizational priorities and consideration of cross-functional inputs
  •    Identify Key market trends and develop strategies to enhance the brand’s market position
  •    Actively provide appropriate designs with regard to cost/value, fit and performance, manufacturability, sustainability and aesthetic finish
  •    Develop strong consumer-oriented points of view and lead the design effort in executing the vision through seasonal product launches, key brand and product initiatives
