Summary: A key member of the Revenue team, the Senior Manager, Advertising Sales will lead WSL’s efforts to achieve significant growth in its advertising and branded content businesses. The role offers the opportunity for a motivated digital/social native to step up and not only lead revenue generation in North America but also to partner with WSL teams in Australia, Brazil and other key markets and help them to expand advertising sales locally.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a North American brand and agency sales strategy, including pitching and maintaining relationships with relevant agency contacts in New York, Los Angeles, and other key domestic markets on an ongoing basis
- Support WSL’s regional teams in APAC, LATAM and EMEA in generating increased advertising revenue in their regions
- Expand WSL global’s programmatic video and display business, with emphasis on developing a robust video private marketplace and PG ecosystem and accountability to an annual programmatic revenue target
- Proactively scope and recommend any technologies, partners or tools that can help grow the business
- Build and distribute sales materials for advertising offerings, including branded content opportunities; liaise with Analytics team to develop compelling metrics that differentiate WSL’s digital offerings
- Attend relevant industry events and ensure WSL stays at the cutting edge
