Summary: This role will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the integrated marketing strategy, brand campaigns and collaboration with cross-functional teams. This is a fast paced, collaborative and “live sports” environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute best practice, integrated marketing strategies, ensuring this is grounded in an understanding of our fans, our brand, our partners and our athletes.
- Drive integrated narratives consistent amongst our broader WSL ecosystem (broadcast, product, partnerships and social).
- Work with both the global and regional teams to build marketing solutions to achieve specific business goals.
- Manage internal resources and external agencies (where and when applicable) to drive highly impactful and highly engaging campaigns.
- Media planning and execution for campaigns demonstrating positive results and efficiencies.
- Stay up to date on digital marketing trends and technology – experimenting with new marketing channels, platforms and initiatives to promote WSL viewership.
- Work closely with our Insights and Analytics team to ensure all marketing campaigns are measured and continuously optimized based on results. Working closely with that team to devise insight learnings and sharings, ensuring optimization to deliver audience growth and engagement.
- Stakeholder management across teams including marketing, digital product, broadcast and content, partnerships, comms/media and social.
- Lead, manage and inspire a growing team (and at times, integrated cross-functional team) creating a culture of collaboration.
