Role: Senior Manager of Product Development

Summary: Manages a Global Product Development team who are responsible for the financial and responsive execution of the strategy & direction for all product categories. Develop and execute a strategic and operational Brand-focused global sourcing strategy in line with current and future needs. 

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain an environment that delivers design’s vision through “right-first-time” development within aligned line plans and target adoption rates.
• Support Merchant’s needs and business requirements by aligning sourcing base with calendar and product needs; including late adds, chase product, quick-turn styles, web exclusives and test product.
• Provide strong leadership, management, development and training to the product development team members. Continuously reevaluate the team and align the team/process to best service the brand.
• Maintain an understanding of how certain raw materials perform when in garment form and offer input and recommendations-based vendor capabilities and quality improvements
• Leverage technical knowledge and leadership support to troubleshoot and resolve issues that are unique in nature and may require a novel approach
• Understand divisional and cross-functional goals and work with team to execute supporting strategies.
