Role: SMU Designer

Location: Costa Mesa, CA
Summary: This position will be responsible for designing SMU products for key retail partners and assist the Sr Design director in conceptualizing and executing special projects for RVCA. This position has the potential to cover all apparel and accessories categories. 

Responsibilities:

• Undertake market research and analysis
• Design and execute SMU product
• Collaborate with Sr Design Director on conceptualizing, designing & executing special projects
• Present projects to internal and external parties
• Ensure technical specification packs are completed accurately and on time
• Manage and adhere to product development calendar
• Create project presentation packages for internal and external parties
• Complete approvals on color, fabric, trim, art, branding & finishing
• Collaborate with garment technicians to develop and approve the fit & construction
