Summary:

The Social Media Coordinator serves as a member of the Community department reporting to our Director, Social Media. This role is vital to the development process, which includes working with various internal departments to package and deliver fresh content daily. Excellent fast pace, organizational, video editing, and Adobe Creative Cloud skills required.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Lead content and team organization, tracking, and reporting
  • Work within the social team to curate, edit, copyright, program and publish content daily
  • Curating content on WSL social platforms, IG, FB, TW, TT, YT
  • Reaching out for content, maintaining relationships with content creators and athletes
  • Downloading and editing content for social platforms, formatting, sequencing, graphics, subtitles, 4×5, 9×16
  • Copywriting, programming, publishing content

Details: 

  • Creation and curation of high-quality assets for daily distribution on WSL’s social media channels
  • Writing engaging copy that aligns with brand voice and tone
  • Real-time coverage of WSL events across WSL social channels
  • Generate community dialogue, buzz, and interaction
  • Monitor posts on all WSL platforms and respond to users
  • Help ideate and produce entertaining and viral social-first videos
  • Work collaboratively with the editorial team to brainstorm ideas based on current events
  • Explore new social media platforms and initiatives to help grow consumer engagement and awareness
  • Work with the marketing team to develop an ongoing communication strategy and publishing calendar based on organizational objectives, community feedback, and sponsorship fulfillment
