Summary: The Social Media Coordinator serves as a member of the Content department reporting to the Chief Community Officer.This role is vital to the development process, which includes working with various internal departments to package and deliver fresh content daily. Excellent video editing, After Effects, and Photoshop skills are required. 

Responsibilities:

  • Writing engaging copy that aligns with brand voice and tone
  • Creation and curation of high-quality assets for daily distribution on WSL’s social media channels
  • Real-time coverage of WSL events across WSL social channels
  • Generate community dialogue, buzz and interaction
  • Monitor posts on all WSL platforms and respond to users
  • Help ideate and produce entertaining and viral social-first videos
  • Work collaboratively with editorial team to brainstorm ideas based on current events
  • Explore new social media platforms and initiatives to help grow consumer engagement and awareness
  • Work with the marketing team to develop an ongoing communication strategy and publishing calendar based on organizational objectives, community feedback and sponsorship fulfillment
