Summary: Working closely with the marketing and e-commerce teams, the Social Media Specialist is responsible for assisting the Global Digital Marketing Manager in all aspects that relate to demand creation and brand building on digital and social platforms for the Billabong Men’s business.

Responsibilities:

  • Help develop and create digital content to support eCommerce/marketing initiatives such as social media posts, blog posts, e-mail, sweepstakes
  • Primary person to run the daily execution of US social media platforms – coordinate, grow, post, monitor, report
  • Apply creative skills and knowledge of social media algorithms to map out on-brand content ideas designed to drive awareness, growth and e-commerce sales
  • Social Media listening and community management with a focus on directly engaging with our social media followers across all platforms
  • Work closely with the marketing and ecommerce team to follow direction and meet deadlines
  • Web analytics and social media reporting (daily/weekly/monthly)
  • Develop and execute social media campaigns/contests
  • Brief internal and external creative teams/resources for building and delivery of content appropriate for our marketing initiatives and channels
