As The Critical Slide Society, we love to celebrate artists, especially those that love to get in the salt. Being an avid surfer, Mitch’s work draws inspiration from his time in and around the ocean, often featuring moments of sunbathers simply appreciating their time. The vibe of simply appreciating the ocean, kicking back, and relaxing is something we can all appreciate, and we hope this capsule encourages just that.
Our Thoughts: Big fan, I love the feeling of it. The art is, I imagine, quite detailed and unique to create but the feeling it gives me is of simple times at the beach in summer. Getting a print like this to hang on the wall would be a nice reminder of grom times. The trunks and shirt are the key pieces imo, bucket hats are a trend that should have died when trainspotting came out.
