Outerknown x Cheer Wetsuits

Brand: Outerknown
Collaboration with: Cheer Wetsuits

Outerknown Said:
Since day one, you’ve asked about wetsuits, so we partnered with the best brand to do it the right way. Beyond their high-quality craftsmanship and sustainable materials, Cheer is committed to protecting our ocean — and we couldn’t be more down with that! This 2mm wetsuit top is lightweight, durable, and offers superior stretch and just enough warmth.

Our Thoughts: Cheer, if you’re not aware of them yet, are a wetsuit brand out of South Australia and are making their suits from FSC-certified natural Hevea™️ rubber – similar to Patagonia’s Yulex in the sense that Hevea is a natural rubber and their suits are neoprene free. Am loving that there is a Outerknown x Cheer Wetsuit program starting to happen, and odds on it’ll expand from just vests.

Is this vest good? It’s pretty good, yes – as are the other offerings from Cheer (check them out) It is over priced? It definitely feels like when you compare to the Billabongs, Patagonia, etc of the wetsuit world. But you’re paying the Outerknown tax here, so if you’re Outerknown fan you’re ready and waiting for this too happen and will snap it up real quick (probably grab the navy too)

If you want the Outerknown x Cheer Wetsuits Vest, hit this link.
If you want a vest but don’t have $260 to spend, here’s some alternatives:
*Patagonia for $180
*Cheer for $155
*Billabong for $120
*Need Essentials for $120
