Brand: Slowtide
Event: On Saturday, August 25, Slowtide hosted a sold-out towel dyeing event at Seed People’s Market in Costa Mesa, CA. With the purchase of their tickets, guests received a blank white towel they had the opportunity to hand-dye with the Slowtide Founders.
Thoughts: Slowtide are rad, I’ve been a fan of them since they kick-started the towel movement a couple years ago. This event is an example of aim global, but act local – an event like this won’t shift the needle in sales for them but will create a lot of goodwill and get them some face to face time with their customer. Plus, those tie dye towels look pretty awesome 😍
