OUTERKNOWN SALE
Sales. Everyone’s doing them, almost 24/7 for the most part. If you really don’t want to pay retail, odds on there’s a few ways around it unless it’s the newest of the new from the coolest brand on the block. Then you’re stuck deciding between retail and eating. Your call there, I generally go with noodles.
The latest sale that has grabbed our eyes (since the Mr Porter one last week) is the Outerknown Sale where they’re currently having up 60% off a majority of their inventory (mainly winter tho). And while you could be excused for thinking this is the beach version of James Perse, there’s still some gold to be found if you wanna sift through it all, which I did. And the below is a representation of what I would buy if cash was flowing
I’ve tried to pick out the best from the sale that would/could/should? appeal to the majority of people reading this site – which is a long string to pull there, so if nothing on this page if for you, head over to the Outerknown Sale (link) yourself and have a peek. Or if you want to stay up to date on the sales we’re posting, hit our Online Sales page
~ for those unaware of Outerknown, a quick intro ~
It’s Kelly Slater’s brand, in partnership with John Moore (he of Hollister fame, amongst other projects). The brand isn’t quite surf, but is at the same time. Think GQ menswear for the beach guy who is over 30…
Since inception they’ve come more towards surf, but aren’t priced like surf. But if you don’t like their product, you have to like their position as they continually strive towards creating product and conducting business with the planet as priority – which is pretty neat. Personally, I’m a fan of OK, and hopefully you are too…
Just a heads up that this post is covered in Affiliate Links, which means if you buy something via this post/link I’ll make about 5% of the sale price. I do Affiliate Links as a way to keep the site free from Ad Banners and page take overs but still have a small slice of revenue coming in – as this ain’t free to do on our end…
Not every link you see on this site is Affiliate Bases, some are tho – and generally the sales pages, like this and the Mr Porter one are. If it’s annoying to you, or you’d like more clarity around it, hit me up. Happy to explain it more, or listen to your feedback.
