Slowtide Shapers Series

Brand: Slowtide
Collaboration with: Multiple Shapers

Slowtide Said:
Introducing the Slowtide Shapers Series. We’re honored to collaborate with some of the surf industry’s best board builders. Their carefully crafted chunks of foam are of the most sought after in the world, constantly advancing the sport and inspiring us to get in the water as often as possible.

Our Thoughts: This is pretty rad in my opinion. Slowtide have been doing some interesting collaborative projects lately, but this one – Slowtide Shapers Series – is by far my favourite. To get all these shapers to contribute and be a part of a bigger ‘shaper series’ is cool. The towels are all micro fibre, meaning their packable, highly absorbent and fast drying. 12 shapers contributed to the project with everyone from Merrick, Mayhem and Pyzel down to Dead Kooks and Bing. Some of the shapers delivered amazing designs, and some who didn’t. I’m hopeful this program expands to interviews, videos, etc with the shapers as well.

Ones to Buy:
*The Mayhem (of course)
*The Chilli (I dig the design of chillis)
*The JS (Camo for the win)
*The Bing (flowers are rad)
