Noah NYC and adidas

Brand: Noah NYC
Collaboration with: adidas
Release Date: Available now from NOAH NYC, Supply (Aust)

Noah NYC Said:
Adidas’ archive was the starting point, but it led to more than just the revival of a classic shoe, the SL 72. Not only has the brand kept pace with high-performance, lightweight running technology in a model like the SL 20, it’s also done the hard work of developing Primeblue, a strong, breathable mesh made with Parley Ocean Plastic™ yarns, and featured in both silhouettes.

Our Thoughts: I say it a lot, Noah is a brand that should be on your radar, for a few different reasons including the product and the brand ethos itself. They’re not super surf but they do enjoy the beach lifestyle, although that $400 dollar wetsuit vest has me scratching my head, and do a lot for protecting or working on ways to better serve our plant. This project between Noah NYC and adidas is a nice one, I don’t run – I can’t – but I like the idea of running and I love the idea of wearing running sneakers for power walking. I also just really like seeing something from Noah that isn’t preppy or Ralph drive in some way…

Beyond Noah and adidas, you should read up on Noah – > Out of NYC, Noah was birthed by Brendon Babenzien (previously the Creative Director of Supreme) with the intention to create a responsible brand and build a better business. Bottom line is, you should read more about Noah – start here.
