Our Thoughts: If you already knew that Dior had partnered with Shawn Stussy on their Fall 2020 Collection, then you would have been well aware that a Stussy Dior Surfboard was going to be coming at some stage. The board is a single fin, looks about 7ft (might be wrong, dims aren’t published) and has a Stussy Dior print all over the deck. It’s limited, of course, coming in at 100 made and for some reason they’ve made a song and a dance about it taking ’72 hours of handwork to complete and refine its narrow “gun” silhouette that is used primarily to ride the biggest waves’. If you order a custom you’d be stoked if it took 72 hours to get haha.
The Stussy Dior Surfboard is part of a bigger ‘beach capsule‘ where you’ll find really expensive gear to wear to the beach. Pieces worth looking at include the obvious like the beach towels, sluggoes for JOB, swim shorts, track shorts and beach robe. But you’ll have to go to the full fashion collection to see the weird shit like the Cowboy Hat with mask – Zorro!.
